Blouses and Shirts

have some absolutely gorgeous satin blouses.

This shimmery, metalic blouse is one of my favourites. I love the colour of the material, and think the matt belt really sets it off.
The nipped in waist will show off curves and make you look really feminine, especially with the colour.

This other blouse is a stunning colour. I love the way it fades up to white.

I also adore the ruffled detail around the neckline, it's pretty but not distracting.

The nipped in waist will also create curves and add even more femininity to this blouse. This means it could be worn with a masculine styled trouser suit, but stil make you look like a lady!

This shirt is really cute and pretty. I love the flower design and the capped sleeves.

The colours are bright and summery, and i think it would look great with the pair of white hot pants from earlier on (cheack out the Shorts section!)!!!

The other blouse I love is this really bright salmon pink ruffled one.

I love the detail around the neckline. The buttons are adorable, and the collar makes it very pretty indeed!

The tie waist adds to the femininity by shoowing off your curves.

have got this great silvery black patterned blouse.

I really like the ruffled neckline on this one too!
I think the black piping really sets it off, drawing attention to the neck.

Going Out Tops

has loads of gorgeous tops for going out in.

This blue satin one is absolutely gorgeous! I love the deep colour and the way it sits on your body.
The tie over the back of the shoulders is adds a cute, but practical element. The straps won't fall off your shoulders!!!

I can see this being worn with some white skinny jeans, which i think would look great!!!

(image from www.riverisland.com)

Another silky one from is this really pretty pale pink top.
I love the innocence of this top, the colour is so sweet and the material will cling to just the right parts, leaving a bit to the imagination... just right!

(image from www.riverisland.com)

On the less expensive side have got this really pretty dip tie die top.

I think this would look fantastic over some black leggings with some flat shoes.
Its a bit more of a relaxed look, suitable for the more casual night out.

Staying with the satin of this one from

is gorgeous!

I love the high neck and ruched in waist.

It looks realy feminine, but without showing anything off.

Jackets

Summer isn't usually the time to buy jackets, but we've gotta have something to keep us warm on the cool summer evenings!

have some great cropped jackets, perfect for not being too hot, or too cool.

This is my favourite, it's cute and girly, especially the flick out at the bottom.

White is also big this summer, and it follows the nautical theme thats going to be huge! This will look great with some dark blue skinny jeans and a white and red striped t-shirt!

(image from www.topshop.com)

Another one from is this long sleeved blazer.

It is again, following the nautical, boating theme. The dark blue and white stripes elongate your figure, slimming you down. Especially with the synched in waist to create and show off your curves.

I really like the buttons too.

(image from www.topshop.com)

have a good variety of light jackets on sale, suitable for breezy summer days and nights.

This military, utility style jacket is both practical and good looking.

I like the khaki colouring, and all the pockets... though knowing me, I'd lose so much in them!

I think it's a good length for the cooler days, as it will cover the top of your pants if you bend over, so no cold winds up your back!

have got some really gorgeous jackets, even if they are at the top of your price range...

I think this little red one is really cute. I love the frills and bow tie.

It's really girly and i can see it following the nautical theme too, with some dark blue jeans and a white strapy top....

Splish Splash!

have a great selection of bikinis and kaftans, but no swimsuits! I prefer bikinis anyway, more of a tan!!! The majority are all being sold with tops and bottoms seperatly too, which can cause a bit of confusion, but is definately better for those with bigger boobs or bums!
This is by far my favourite of the bikinis, and the only one I found being sold together!

I love the design with it's sparkly and shimery silver stars set onto the black background.

I'm also a big fan of the tie sides and neck.

My favourite cover-up to go with this bikini was the Dip-Dye kaftan, in blue.
I think the clolours compliment each other nicely, and the sheerness of the kaftan, means you'll still be able to see the design of the bikini underneath!

I can imagine these being worn together with silver sandals on a beach or by the side of the pool!

My favourite seperate bikini from was the jungle print one.

I really like the vibrant colours ad patterned design.

With the tie neck and bottoms design again, I'm a fan.

I would wear this bikini with a similar jungle themed kaftan, but with a different design. I would probably chose this animal print one...

(all above images from www.newlook.co.uk)

have a variety of both swimsuits and bikinis, though in all honesty, they aren't too varied.

The swim suits are all in this design but different colours. Though it is a nice style, some varitey wouldn't go a miss.

There are a few colours avaliable, such as green, red and blue, but no where near as much variety as the bikinis.

This is my favourite of the bikinis avaliable. I love the petal design, I think it's really really pretty.

The orangy flowers would match perfectly my favourite cover up too!

It's more of a dress than a cover-up, so you'd still have to watch your shoulders, but it would definately reatin your modesty for going across the promenade from the beach to buy an icecream!

WHO WEARS SHORT-SHORTS?!?!

have some fantastic Hot Pants on sale this Summer.

White Denim is going to be Huge again on the beaches this summer, as is the Hot Pant design, getting your legs out!!!
I really like the belt that comes with these shorts.

And lets face it, White shows off any amount of tan to its best!
Great all round!

(images from www.newlook.co.uk)

have got a huge variety of shorts on sale aswell, anything from Cropped trousers to the shortest, bum skimming hot pants!

I absolutley adore the military style of these pin-striped shorts.

The fold over pockets are really cute, and I can just see them being worn with either a pair of black stiletos, or just flip-flops for the beach!
(images from www.topshop.com)

are seeming a wee bit Chavvy with their shorts this season.

These are the only ones that i liked! But i do really like them!
There a bit 'army-esque' and i could easily see myself wandering about town or along the beach in these and a pair of flip-flops!

I'm not too keen on the belt that comes with them, but it does compliament the colours nicely.

If you're like me though, and really aren't a fan of your thighs, these ae definately my favourite 'longer shorts'.

SUMMER DRESSES!

This is my favourite one from

I love the colour of this dress, and the wrap round design is really pretty! The rouching around the waist also covers up any lumps and bumps, so if your a bit concsious of your tummy, like me, it's great!!!
The material is quite thick and heavy too, which keeps the puff ball style skirt in shape.
I'm a big fan of the strapless shoulders, perfect for the up-and-coming summer evenings!
It is easily dressed up or down, so it's versitile too! I love this dress.

(images from
www.topshop.com)

have got loads of less formal dresses too:

This one would be perfect for a summer's day, either abroad or in the UK...you just might need to add a cardigan!
I really like the bright orangey red colour of this dress, it would probably suit most skin tones, which is great if you and your mates share clothes!
The high waist is probably more suited to the less curvy girl, as the nipped in waist will create the illusion of curves!

(images from
www.topshop.com)

have also released their range of dresses for summer;

This 'Organic Cotton' Jersey-style dress is really 'in' this season. I adore the detail around the neck. The buttons and lace detail are very girl-next-door-esque.
The dusky purple suits the style really well, i think. The style makes it seem innocent but the colour makes it still a bit cheeky!

(images from
http://www.newlook.co.uk/)

is the more expensive choice, but you do get excellent quality for your money.
This was my favourite of the 'going out' dresses.
It reminded me a bit of a Greek toga, which i liked. I love the plaited gold-ribbon detail and shoulder straps.
The waist is nipped in too, slyly creating curves, so it suits pretty much everyone.
